My photography centers primarily on the natural world in the Pacific Northwest. The series of images I am currently working on use a forced symmetry that combines an appreciation for the aesthetics in nature with logic and order. Their unique impression uses both right-brain and left-brain sensitivities.
I graduated in 1975 from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Design, majoring in Graphic Design and a concentration in Photography. For the past 30 years, I have had a professional career as a graphic designer and art director with many different clients and employers in and around Seattle, including magazine and book publishers, marketing clients, and the software industry.
