Molly Winton, has been turning wood since 1998, and delving into various surface enhancement techniques (primarily pyrography and branding), since 2003. She has a strong commitment to form, and believes this is essential above all else. Teaching and sharing turning and enhancement techniques is also a passion, and when her busy family life allows, she travels to woodturning clubs and symposiums to share her work. Inspirations for enhancements have been derived from an interest in Native American art, as well as primitive, prehistoric, cave art. Her work has been a part of exhibits and sold around the world, featured in national and international periodicals, and is available through various galleries.
