It would be hard to find a more expressive triad of local artists, each with a unique approach to art and a unique view of the world. From fantasies and fantastic creatures, to uniquely utile yet decorative pottery, to pastoral views of the rhythms of nature in the Italian countryside.

Arts of Snohomish member artist Janie Olsen offers us her unique and beautiful stylings of animals, based on reality but with her own turns of fantasy and whimsy.

Award winning guest artist Barbara Freeman presents rhythmic landscapes from her Italian series.

Master potter and Arts of Snohomish member Steve Dalton showcases his highly functional and carefully styled pottery as a great way to add beautiful tools and presentations to your home and kitchen.

Steve Klein's unique, exploratory approach to kiln working creates a wide variety of imagery in his work. He uses shape, color, line, texture, and the incomparable reflection of light that only glass can provide.

Karen Simonson begins with acrylics then swithches to oil, letting the under-painting serve as a base for exploration of shapes and forms.

09.03.2010 - 09.26.2010 [- Once in a Lifetime
This satirical comedy focuses a faltering vaudeville act as they decide to head west and present themselves as elocutionary experts in the hope someone will hire them to train actors unaccustomed to speaking on screen. The trio’s misadventures include encounters with a playwright driven to distraction and eventually a sanatorium, a silent screen beauty whose voices sound like nails on a blackboard, a ditsy receptionist who wears an evening gown to work, and an aspiring actress and her chaperoning stage mother.

"... saddle up for David Christie’s smartly-written one woman show about hell-raising Mother Mary Harris Jones. Therese Diekhans’ charming, studied performance playfully brings to life fifteen characters, from children mill workers to John D. Rockefeller, as the audience learns the true cost of Big Business cost-cutting in early 20th century mining towns. Mother Jones’ rallying speeches on apathy and revolution are particularly poignant amidst contemporary woes, while original music by Jerry Reynolds and clear, active direction by Carol Roscoe maintain an environment of engaging theatricality."
