


Created the Arts Commission web site that links citizens with many artists and arts organizations, including a calendar of local arts events. The new site was launched on May 12, 2006. From that date through October 22, there have been 2,608 visits.
Created the Arts Commission brochure providing citizens and visitors with a reference guide to Snohomish County art.
Established the Arts Commission kiosk which gives artists and arts organizations a visible County location where they can promote their work and activities.
Solicited seven qualified commission alternates to further broaden the knowledge base and diversity of the Commission.
Built a mailing list of more than 400 self-identified residents of this County who are interested in taking an active role in the arts.
Collaborated with design teams to identify seven public art projects in highly visible locations optimizing the benefits of enrichment through art.
Wrote and approved a selection process to ensure that the highest quality artists will be chosen to create public art.
Wrote and approved Art Selection Panel Guidelines and defined policies to include Commission members, project and community members, to ensure that all interested parties have a voice and participate in the process.
Participated in festivals and events throughout the County to increase Art Commission visibility and promote its mission.
Created a calendar of arts events presented throughout the County as a resource for artists and a reference for citizens.
Presented a five-concert series on the County plaza. These concerts were open and free to all, providing an opportunity for County employees and citizens, providing an opportunity to celebrate the arts together.
