Purpose of the Website—This website focuses on Snohomish County arts, Snohomish County artists and Snohomish County arts organizations. This includes arts activities, artists and arts organizations in Snohomish County, communities that straddle the Snohomish County line, Camano Island and areas served by Highway 2 between the Snohomish County line and Skykomish.
Submitted Content—The Snohomish County Arts Commission reserves all rights to select, review, jury and edit content for publication. Content will be primarily informational and non-commercial. Images and text submitted for publication on snohomishcountyarts.org may be featured in other sections of the website and may be used by the Snohomish County Arts Commission in electronic and print form to promote and support the arts in Snohomish County and the Snohomish County Arts Commission.
Local Artist—Artists will be eligible to be included in the Snohomish County Arts Commission website when they live, work, have ongoing studio space, or are actively participating in an arts organization within Snohomish County, Camano Island and areas served by Highway 2 between the Snohomish County line and Skykomish.
Local Organizations, Events, Classes & Workshops—To be listed, events, classes and workshops must focus on the visual, performing or literary arts and be located within Snohomish County, communities that straddle the Snohomish County line, and communities with main access limited to Snohomish County. Limited access areas include Camano Island and areas served by Highway 2 between the Snohomish County line and Skykomish.
Permission to Use Images & Text—Submitting images or text will constitute granting of permission by the artist or author for its use, free of charge, anywhere on the website or in electronic or print materials to promote the arts in Snohomish County and the Snohomish County Arts Commission. A credit line will appear with the images. Images and text will not be used by the Arts Commission in any other manner and will not be sold or authorized by the Arts Commission for use by third parties. Permission may be withdrawn in writing or by email by the person submitting the images or text and the Arts Commission will remove or cease use of those images or text as promptly as it can be reasonable to do so.
Resolution of Images—Images appearing on the website or in html email will be low resolution and will not be suitable for unauthorized reproduction.
