Arts Council selects architects for Visual Art Education Center.

ARC Architects from Seattle will design the space for the Visual Art Education Center. The Center will be located in the Artspace building on Hoyt Avenue in downtown Everett.

The Gallery—exhibits work by local artists and participates in the Everett Art Walk on the third Saturday of the month.

The Studio—Karon Leigh offers classes in monotype printmaking and mixed media collage in the 1,000 square foot studio. Students work with a Whelan Xpress Printmaking Etching Press, water-based inks and a solvent free green environment. Life Drawing at Lowell Art Works—Informal drop-in style group meets every Tuesday from 7 to 10 pm. Fee is $10 per session to practice your drawing skills and mingle with other artists.
