Letters of Joy FestivalMay 2 & 3—Two-day conference at Edmonds Community College for calligraphers and paper artists. Includes a wide range of classes for all skill levels, silent auction, vendors, and exhibits. Keynote speaker sill be Louise Grunewald. Scholarship & Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony & ExhibitFebruary 4—Alli Curtis, a senior at Stanwood High School, will receive the 2008 Susan Jane Russell Art Scholarship to continue her art education. The Scholarship and Regional Scholastic Art Awards will be presented Monday, February 4 at 6:30 at the New Everett Theatre in Everett. The Scholastic Art Exhibit will be on view at the Arts Council Gallery in the Historic Monte Cristo, 1507 Wall Street in downtown Everett. For information, call Nancy Bell at (425) 257-7372.
